Vibration isolators for industrial applications
Vibration isolators are structural components used in machinery and equipment to reduce vibration, oscillation and noise levels.
Rubber vibration isolators are equipped with a universal mounting that allows them to be installed in various machine and equipment structures. There are two main varieties of rubber vibration isolators:
- Double-sided vibration isolators – these are type A, B and C damping connectors.
- Single-sided vibration isolators – these include bumpers and bouncers of types D and E.
Rubber dampers for vibration isolation
Vibration isolators are used in a variety of applications such as air conditioning, ventilation, pumps, compressors and other machinery and equipment subjected to vibration by internal components. They are also used to isolate machines from vibrations transmitted through the ground, for example in the case of compactors. Vibration isolators for machines should be used in areas where high dynamic forces occur, particularly shear forces. Properly selected vibration isolators have a positive effect on the service life of machines.
When selecting suitable vibration isolators, it is important to take into account the total weight of the machine, the number of support points, the load per support point and the speed of the rotating parts and the type of attachment.

Types of rubber used
EPDM – is a type of rubber resistant to UV operation, resistant to ozone, acids and alcohols, as well as esters and ketones.
NBR – this elastomer gives resistance to oils, petrol and other petroleum products.
